After dropping my c500 a few times I decided to see if I could find a new fascia and replace it. Low and behold I found one on ebay, brand new still with the protective films attached.

Is there a guid on removing the old one and fitting a new one, I don't want to break anything

I can't give you a full guide for stripping the phone, but there's my guide on here for getting it as far as the screen.

C500 de-dusting

I've never needed to get it further than this (i.e. get to the keyboard), so if you do strip it down as far as the keyboard, take some pictures and get a full guide on MoDaCo my friend! :D

Actually, it's not a replacement, it's pulled off of a dummy display unit. The only thing missing is the LCD gasket, so when you change them over, you're going to have a dust problem if you didn't have one before.

I bought a dummy and sucessfully pulled it all apart. I did it so well I could reuse ALL of the parts, including both rear covers, the center (silver) body, and the only part I couldn't reuse is the camera housing (I think).

You need a T5 torx driver, and getting off the top rear cover is the most difficult. Once you get that off, the rest is cake. I would have already replaced my faceplate as I dropped mine, but the gasket isn't available. *shrug*
