Guest andysalmon Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Arghh, just ordered the Compact from Scancom 6 wks before my Orange contract runs out. Oh well! Stock due in Wed 9th or Thurs 10th (allegedly!!) Scancom have a wi-fi card for £50 ish. Does anyone know how this compares against the San disk one with 256Mb memory?
Guest MitchellO Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 I have the standard Sandisk WiFi for my XDA Mini (same as the MDA Compact) and it works great. Excellent range, speed and good price (got mine for AU$130). Not sure about the 256Mb version. I imagine it would be about the same but with the extra memory. I recommend the 256Mb version, as I find I run out of space on my internal memory/storage, and want to listen to some music will connected. The 256Mb one would let you, unfortunately I couldn't afford the extra AU$70. Total cost of my XDA Min with accessories it about AU$1200 (very good deal), which is a lot for someone in Yr11. Well worth it though!!!
