Guest scm7rap Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 I have done a search onthe forum but not found what I was after, so apologies if this has already been dealt with somewhere: I don't like MSN Messenger which comes with the c500, but I do like Yahoo messenger. The UK Yahoo site is rubbish, it seems you cannot use the UK version of messenger on a phone. On the US site you can, but it deals with US phones/phone names and companies, whohc is understandable. DOes anyone know ifthe the US version can be put on a UK phone? And if so, with what settings. I have an SPV C500 under Orange.
Guest James Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 You can use programs like these for Yahoo messenger:- THIS ONE or This ONE hope this helps...
Guest hanhha2000 Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 I'll look into them. Thank you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can always try Agile messenger :D http://groups.yahoo.com/group/smartphone/f...engerSP2003.exe
Guest tudor Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 @hanhha2000: I think you should post a link to a page describing the application, with screenshots and info, not to an exe file. I'm not saying that this particular file is malicious, but I think it's good practice to allow people to view details of what they are going to download and judge themselves from what they see if the site is trustworthy or not. @mods: I think that posting a link to exe files should be denied by default on the forum.

Thanks guys. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah I'd download Agile, it's free for a start and allows you to send small sound clips to people. Plus it's the only one I've found that seems to cope with yahoo offlines.
