Outlook Whitecard contacts

Recommended Posts

Well I just found out my work will not let me Sync my device with our Exchange server.

However I would like to get our whitecards (employee contact info) onto my device. Outlook 2003 on my laptop allows me to copy the entire public folder. Where should I place the file on my MPX220? Which folder do contacts belong in?

Thanks for any help. :D

I don't think copying a contacts folder onto the phone will work. You must sync, via Active Sync with either a server, or a PC to get the contacts onto the phone. Have you tried syncing with the laptop, rather than with your server? If that fails, you could try setting up a separate (home) PC with outlook, copy the contacts into that, and then sync your phone to your home PC.

I do sync my phone with my laptop now, the whitecards are in Outlook public folders. I did not think about using a different machine. I will give that a try.

Thanks!
