Guest bink Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 (edited) Hi, I was wondering of someone would be interested in developing a small tool for smartphone 2003 SE. I use the Activesync option to sync email with my Exchange 2003 server as the email arrives. When an email arrives to my exchnage server, Exchange sends an SMS message to my Smartphone. That triggers Activesync to get the message. Problem is that my SMS inbox gets filled with these messages. I would like to have a tool that monitors the SMS inbox and deletes the exchange SMS messages after say 1 minute. Please let me know if this is possible, so we can discuss the development. See Always-up-to-date (AUTD) feature Thanks Steven Bink Bink.nu Edited March 10, 2005 by bink

See Always-up-to-date (AUTD) feature -- Check out the OpennetCF libraries (http://www.opennetcf.org/library/) The classes you are looking for in particular is: OpenNETCF.Phone.SIM.MessageCollection, OpenNETCF.Phone.SMS. Ofcourse the actual implementation relies on the features you want to use. Do you want to delete the messages based upon the senders address, or by analyzing the content of the message ? cheers, Tony Tromp
