i-tech virtual keyboard (VKB) bluetooth on WM2003

I've recently received my Virtual Keyboard (bluetooth) VKB with laser keyboard. It seem to react just fine on my keystrokes and I can bond with my i-mate SP3.

The software installs but I'm not able to select the VKB Keyboard entry in the software. It jumps back to "Com1" when I try to select it.

Does anyone have experience with this combination? The software is the same for all Windows Mobile 2003 phones...

I also have an SP3 and am having the same identical problem. I have re-installed and re-paired several times, but nothing helps.

This afternoon I also tried the same drivers on the Audivox SMT 5600, which is basically the same phone, just a different ROM.

The results were the same as on my SP3...

Hmmm... I was afraid of that. I'm curious if anyone has been albe to get the keyboard running on Windows Mobile 2003 and with what phone?

Tried a friends E200 today...and it worked fine. No dialog issues...simply chose the VKB and the phone immediately read the battery state and the VKB chirped in acknowledement of the driver talking to it.

May try to copy the registry from the E200 and import into my C500.
