newbi question

Hello There,

Can someone help me with this please ?

I have a spv c500 and I am trying to edit the OrangeHomescreen.home.xml

file to my pc in order to edit it.

I get a message saying that file in ROM can not be copied.

How is it possible to edit this file ?

Hi. Welcome to MoDaCo. :D

1. Open drive C > Tools > Folder Options > View tab...check if you have same setup as this one...click Apply button when finished.

2. Sync phone to computer > open phone's \Windows folder > look for the file > transfer file from phone to PC. There shouldn't be error this time.

3. Edit the file on your computer.

I appreciate very much your help but it doesnt help.

I still get: error copying file

"Cannot copy OrangeHomescreen.home.xml: Executable and resource files in ROM cannot be copied"

What a I doing wrong ?

Do I need to unlock my smartphone first in any way ?
