MDA Compact - The best smartphone!

Hi everyone, thought I'd take moment say that I think the mda compact is the best smartphone currently available, especially for it's size and power of pocket pc, yes it may have its flaws (i.e. no wi-fi,average camera quality,no hard button num key pad.) but as a pda phone it does well, you no longer look stupid when making/recieving calls compared to xda ii, now if this is a new begining of pocket pc phones to come then who needs smartphones such as spv c500, sda etc... :D

By the way if anyone is questioning my views about the mda, I'm a proud owner of phones such as nokia 6600,spv e200,se p900,and pda ipaq3900 so although these are great products I must admit the mda compact is the closest that I have come across as near perfect smartphone.

sorry to ask but, isn't imate jam/mda compact/htc magician is a ppc phone?

and other of ppc are: xda, xdaii, xda iis, xda 2i (d*** lots of xda, does it means that o2 has been ripping so much money out of xda users). :D

and you know what the "i" means on every upgrade of phones?

"i" means = "income(in terms of money)"

"ii" means = "income, income"

"iis" means = "another income income"

"2i" means = "too much income"

:D :D :D

just for fun, come on. where's your sense of humor. i love the phone, i'm just having fun on how they come up on all the models wuth different versions and specifications. why can't they just put all the necessary upgrades on one phone instead of one by one? :(

i thought that c500 is the best smartphone. :(

And the other smartphones are: sp3i/sda, motorola mpx 200/220, e200, e100, etc.........

You don't necessarily upgrade as every new model comes out. They can't put everything in it at once, because the technology isn't available at the time. (eg. XDA II Mini is the XDA II with some improvements, but in a much smaller size, previously unachievable).

You also have to take in the fact that by releasing updated models, they make more money. Income, Income is right.

Would you run a business that has no income?

Must agree! I got my MDA Compact 3 days after it was released on T-Mobile and it was the best thing that had happened to me since the previous year when I got my p800! ( :D I live a sad life!) The MDA is clearly superior to any other phone that i've seen on the market at the moment! Im defiitely proud to be an owner!

Just waiting for my 1Gb SD card to arrived in the post and then thats when things get serious! Mmmm....I cant wait! You guys have provided me with some good info on memory cars and software to put on the phone, so im prepared and eager to get started on turning my phone into a multimedia centre! :D

There is nothing "sad" about getting excited about a new gadget !!

Just like there is nothing sad about getting excited by sport, cars and sexy women !!

Its all part of being a male :D

Your going to enjoy the MDA properly when your SD Card arrives !!

Personally I recommend getting one of the dodgy DVD's off eBay will keep you busy for a good while !!

Yeah, a 1Gb SD and a SD Wifi card make the XDA II Mini/JAM/Compact the best PDA. I have two 1gb SDs with progams, movies, videos, music and photos. The wifi works like a dream for web, email and msn.
