Loud sound with certain key pressed.

Hi. I have been doing the search on this problem. In fact, it is on one of the message about the bug list. The following is a quote from that message.

Loud beeping when entering a symbol

When symbol input is selected by holding down the '#' key, when it has popped up, it then proceeds to beep loudly a number of times until you release the '#' key.

I am trying to fix it, but I have not been able to yet.

Do you know how to fix this problem?
