Pin layout for headset

Afternoon all,

Does anyone know what the pin configuration is on the headset and whether or not it's possible to buy a 2.5 to 3.5mm adaptor for it.

With a 1Gb sd card it'll make a fine mp3 juke box! Like an i-pod only with phone calls and big colour screen :D Add to the fact that i could also plug it into the amp downstairs and stream radio to it via bluetooth :D

I have found motorola 2.5mm headset works fine on my xda ii mini. Nokias don't, as they have the wrong set. I use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor (from an ngage) and it comes through loud and CLEAR. No distortion (unless it is a crap, 64kbit mp3) and works with all 3.5mm devices (headphones, speakers, etc).

Look for one that has a cable between the 2.5mm male and the 3.5mm female jacks. If it is a straight plug sticking out it could easily be broken off, damaging the port.
