Guest Harpreet Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Is there any software with which the smartphone can be used without the simcard (ya i dont mean for callling by using without sim i mean to use the all the other functions)... I have seen that when ever the smartphone is switched on without the sim it just gets stuck on the screen which says sim not available or locked or smthing... if any one knows about any software on any way to use it without the sim please let me know.... Thanx ...

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Place the SIM in the phone then switch to aeroplane mode. Now you can power off remove the SIM and restart the phone without any problems :D This is what I do as I only have two or three old SIMs and it saves swapping them in and out of phones all the time.
