Guest OttoR Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I use a SPV C500 and for the first time I like to surf the internet by using a mobile phone. Although you can surf to any sites not using fancy java etc... WAP-sites are more suitable for the mobile device. Finding WAP-designed sites is not a big problem, but knowing what transport protocol can be used is! For example: http://www.google.com brings you Google wsp://www.google.com brings you Google as well. What is the difference? According to the Orange helpdesk, using the latter is for free, using the first you pay for. So I have searched for sites that can be accessed using the WSP instead of HTTP, but I haven't found any useable site on dis subject. Another thing is that I'm looking for a browser that I can use on my Desktop PC when using WSP, so that I can test sites out, not using my telephone. This too I haven't had succes on. Wonder what you think of this and if I have overlooked a site or forum topic on this!
