install help?

Hej guys. here iam again :?: why when i try to install a home screen, it say´s that it hasent digitally rights or permission to do it .(sorry my english stinks , i will do something about that !!!). how can i come around this problem. my phone is spv c500. i usually install them to :

storage/windows/start menu/application

is it correct? (cab,xml,hme)

You will need to application unlock your phone from the Orange developers site.

If you are not in the UK or are not using an Orange SIM you will need to use passthrough and not gprs to unlock your phone.

thx for your quick replay what is passtrouth and where can i get it? gprs how can i turn this thing off? you are right i am from danmark!

passthrough is selected in Settings\Data Connection

This means you will be connecting the phone to the internet via your PC and not GPRS

hmmm now it says i have no rights to install such things/program !!! (i swiched my dataconnections to automatic) have you heard it before?

With the phone on pass-through, you now have to go to the Orange Developers site to do the decert process
