Guest bolasz Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 The BT icon in the bottom left corner of the Today screen has suddenly diappeared. Would love to get it back, any ideas appreciated.
Guest GothTeddy Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 left corner? :D a soft reset should sort it out.
Guest bolasz Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 left corner? :D Oops.... Already did several resets, nothing. Also, if I switch it on from settings, though sometimes it stayes on, usually it switches off by itself after a few seconds. Hard reset? ](*,)
Guest GothTeddy Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 backup and reset is all i can advise, unfortunatelly, I don't remember reading of anyone sorting this problem.

Guest spvdk Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 Looks like quite a few programs do this. Maybe we should have a list? Only one I can remember right now is Omega One Battery Bar. If you have that installed, try uninstalling...
Guest bolasz Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 After hard reset everything's fine. Has anyone seen an error massege telling you that there is no bluetooth device installed?! :D
Guest mike-oh Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 After hard reset everything's fine. Has anyone seen an error massege telling you that there is no bluetooth device installed?! :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yup! It needed a soft reset to remind it that it had one! "Yeh mate, it's that chip over there in the corner, ya know the one that makes that little blue light flash, that's the one you're after."
Guest bolasz Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 yup! Probably you also read the topic about doing a soft reset when the device warns you that in 3 sec it will install all the crap that comes with the rom makes the extended rom appear and you can choose wich cabs you want and which don't. Now after all that how do you make the extended rom disappear?
Guest MitchellO Posted March 19, 2005 Report Posted March 19, 2005 http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=203317 Info on hard reseting and stopping the install of the default crap!
