Cingular software update to phone in US?

Tried to connect to IM Saturday and it failed, so I thought it was just a MS thing. Today, I tried to connect to IM and then to sync with my server at the office. Last but not least, I tried to hit a website. Just as I thought, no internet.

I spoke to a rep who said he had to send a software update to my phone and I should wait 2-3 hours and it will start working.

Anyone else in the states experience this?

I had trouble on and off over the weekend, but it's been OK since sunday night. I didn't get any kind of upate. I wonder if you got new firmware from Cingular :D

BTW I'm in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

I'm in Oklahoma and I already had 1.30.. Lets see if it fixes anything.

It worked! Internet access is working again.

Interesting....I'm out in San Diego, didn't have any problems....I wonder what they sent you...or were they just talking out of their asses. That has been known to happen a lot.
