Just do a search on here for registry changes, home pages, themes etc. There is a lot of info on here; just have to look...

That's a difficult question to give a direct answer to, because it depends on what you want to do. Customizing the Start Menu is a possibility, and most people like experimenting with various homescreens. Also, there are lots of applications that you can add to the phone (some free, and some for purchase). A lot depends on what interests you. You'll tend to get better answer to more specific questions. I'm actually trying to put together a web page that will have lots of information about these things, but I'm just getting started. You can take a look at it, but it's rather sparse at the moment. Maybe in another month or so, I'll have more info, but for now, it just has a few homescreens, and some info about arranging the Start Menu.
