GPRS on prepaid T-mobile USA

Hi-

Got an E200 this week and love it. Am using t-mobile prepaid because I'm moving overseas in a few months and don't want a contract. Is there any way to get GPRS to work as a T-mobile prepaid customer?

I tried configuring GPRS and the proxy as described here, but no joy.

I called customer support and they said that pre-paid customers only have access to the t-zones website, and from there are only able to download ringtones and pictures on a fee per-download-basis. I can't even get that.

This review, from November 2003, says that t-mobile doesn't do anything GPRS-wise for its prepaid customers. Has anything changed since then?

So, anybody know if there is a loophole available for me to be able to establish a GPRS connection and obtain my inbox messages?

Thanks for any input!

Well the only way that i know although maybe is not so good for you is try to find sidekick prepaid on that plan you have unlimited inetrnet access and unlimited messaging for 1$ a day. I have tried to call tech support and ask is it possible to buy just a sim card because i really dont need sidekick2, but they said no. Maybe you will have better luck.
