Backup

I want to back up my phone and the sd card to my pc but the backup option is greyed out. i am running the latest version 3.8 an have xp pro on my pc. the sync works fine other than this

any ideas???????

It's not available for the Smartphone platform, only Pocket PC etc.

Sprite is a good alternative though.

Best thing is to get to grips with the way the search facility works, it can take practice.

firstly the help and advice forum for smartphones (which i am a frequent user (for asking not giving advice) and reader) is filled with all the types of smartphone.

Would it not be more sensible to have the C500 help and advice in the typhoon HTC related forum?

this is the sort of thing that will organise to be a better forum, I do not need to read about an mx 2000 or an itv3 or an 1001dryfoam (sorry i could not resist)

this is not critism in the nasty sense, this trying to make things helpful for us newbs.

I did not even know what HTC was before I came on this site and so I have asked many questions which would better off being served in the right place not for users who who have never used the product.

Off my soap box now 8)

Then again, these phones share the same OS etc so having a combined Help & Advice makes sense fron that point of view.
