Guest heckdogg Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 is there a setup option I am missing here? I have an unlocked MPx200, and I can receive SMS but not send them. My carrier doesn't support this model, so they are no help. Am I just out of luck here, or do I need to configure something else? Thanks
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 What happens exactly when you try to send an SMS ?
Guest heckdogg Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 What happens exactly when you try to send an SMS ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I get a message saying that says: "The following errors occurred while sending and receiving mail: Your SMS message has not been sent. Verify that you have network coverage and then try sending the message again" But people can send me messages and I receive them fine.

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Check you have not got line 2 activated (if you have an Orange ROM), press and hold the # button to swap between line 1 and 2

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Only other thing I can think of at the moment apart from a hard reset is to check the number you are seding to is correct. Have you tried sending yourself a message my manually typing in your number?
