SD CARD issue

I have an SPV E200

This is the third replacement.

On the first one the jack for the power and cradle broke.

I had it replaced after a long time on the phone but to my horror the phone wouldnt save on the KINGSTON 256MB SD card. Note that the first phone didnt have any issues.

After a month on the phones to technical support and various visits to Orange shops to check both phone and card with different phones cards, I was sent a free third replacement yesterday. And yes after one day the same thing happened. I couldnt save from the phone to the card.

The card works fine on reader/writer and other phones.

I am desperate dont know what to do except that next upgrade I am getting rid of the SPV E200. I had enough. Any help would be appreciated.

Been with Orange for about a month. The SPV C500 wont save vid clips to the 512sd card I bought. After three phones I now have the feeling it is the Kingspan card I bought. Everything else is fine and the origonal 16kb card i bought seems to work ok. I will probably but a new card and see what happens. A bit frustrating going from a Nokia to this.

My phone seems to be having a similar problem. My scandisk 256mb card had been working fine for the past 2-3months, then i go sync 2 cd albums over to listen to and kaput. it no longer reads my card. all the apps i had on it no longer work. :D

I am not on a contract (O2 payandgo) so cant even get a free replacement/ upgrade..... anyone got any ideas to help?

For the first post the E200 cannot use dual layer memory cards so that may be the problem especially if the card is working on other devices.
