Pics for caller ID... camera only?

I know I can take a pic with the phone's camera and use it as a caller ID photo for a contact, but can I somehow do this with a picture I transfer from my PC?

yes you can use pics transfered from a pc.

press assign photo> menu> change folder

then select the folder on which the picture is located.
