The amount of RAM

I have a T-Mobile SDA Music and I only have about 10 MB of RAM to use.

My brother has a Motorola MPX200 and it has about 20MB.

Even after, using taskmanager, shutting down all programs I have 8-10 MB of RAM.

Can anyone tell me if this is caused by the Windows or something else? (SDA has 2003 & MPX200 2002)

I have an I-Mate SP3 and I have got exactly same amount of free memory....
