SPV E200 keypad problem

Hi there,

I've got a lovely SPV E200 which i've had for about 10 months and i think its the best thing since sliced bread!!

The problem is, the central joystick won't operate properley anymore and niether will the 2 top softkeys (probably due to wear and tear).

Thing is, i don't want to replace this phone cos i'm quite attached to it (sad, i know) so does anyone know of any solutions or maybe a decent repair center for these type of phones?

Please help!! if not for my sake, do it for my SPV!! :cry:

If you live in the UK try calling HTC 07812230217 as your phone is less than 12 months old you should get it fixed free under warenty. Good look :D

Has anyone eversent a handset back to HTC for repairs? Just wondered what they were like as i don't want to just bundle my little baby off to a company i've never dealt with ( got my spv from an orange retail shop ).

Also, do you think they will class a software de-cert as "tampering" with the phone, they say they will just go ahead and charge you money if they think you have been tampering with the phone.

I have sent my C500 back 3 times now hopefuly they have managed to cure the dust problem now [-o:)
