2nd post....

When opening programs and films etc the windows loading icon comes up (split coloured circle) and there is sometimes a delay time of up to 5 seconds. Is this a problem with my phone, or all c500's in general (maybe all smartphones are slow?)

No, it's not "standard"

What apps in particular are slow?

As a general rule I install all apps to the SD card, and even from there there are no really slow apps (Papyrus takes 2-3 secs because of the number of items in my calendar, but that's the worst)

Sometimes Betaplayer (v0.5) takes up to 3 or 4 seconds to open, if I've closed it completely last time and I've got a 2hr film loaded up. Beyond that, the only time I really see the windows wait jobbie is when opening the camera for the first time after closing the application.

A one-off application with a 5 second wait I could live with, if you've got a few of them then I'd say it's time to hard reset and when you set back up, put everything you possibly can on the Card.

thats fine thank you (both.) hard reseting. do you do that via start>applications> clear storage?
