Calendar required

HI,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any calendar software out there that can change the profile of the phone depending on the calendar event. For example, if i schedule a meeting in I would like the phone to automatically go into "silent" more but at all other times remain in "general".

If no-one knows of anything suitable could you mabye recomend a few other calendar programs I can try out.. just want something more than the standard one.

Don't know of a calendar that has that feature, very good idea though - something I would be interested in!

The best calendar software you can buy for the smartphone is papyrus from http://www.sbsh.net.

I would ask Amit (the papyrus developer), to possibly add this feature to papyrus.

mate, this feature is part of the built in calendar. when you make appointments, you can choose status: busy, free, tentative, out of office (default is busy). then just select Automatic profile and it will go to silent for every busy appointment, and back to normal afterwards.

Excellent, I'll give that a try... would the same method work with other calendar software do you know? Just the standard one is fairly basic and i like the look of that papryus.

Things like Papyrus still use the built-in calendar database, so "Yes" the auto profile should still work.

Papyrus is great, and definately worth a trial. It now also includes Tasks, so you can see appointments and tasks in the same place... very handy!

I would also recommend Papyrus. Great calendar application, which now includes task and the most impressive customer support I have every seen. Top notch developers.
