Guest bazzo Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 (edited) Please read my Analysis of the Soundbug befor you vote, if you havn't yet or don' know what we are talking about here. The question is not if you think your phone has the bug or not, or if its audible with the testtone (it will definitly be)! Also, please post the styles of music you hear the bug with or not and which headphones you use. A comment on the audioformat at which bitrate would be nice too. If you dont use your Phone as MP3-Player, please dont take part. Thanks to all. Best regards Bazzo Edited March 22, 2005 by bazzo

Guest fatman Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Device: SPV C500 Music Styles: Thrash Metal Metal Rock Blues 80s Pop Headphones: Standard Sony EX-71 Fontopia (on standard cable etc) Shure E2c Can hear it in all cases during quiet passages (and yes Thrash metal does have a few :D ). Is much less noticeable with the Shure headphones I now use. May be influenced by impedance of headphones cos Shure's are much higher than previous Sony 'phones. Barely notice it now, I only hear cos I know its there.

I listen to house music most of the time on my SPV C500 ,and the files are .mp3 at 128,160,192 kbps CBR . Headphones are original ones, also tried with other ,result the same. I hear it in more than 90% of the tracks , ussually on lower frequencies but it is there and it is annoying.
