Guest jakobdam Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Great news! It looks good, and I'd love to try it! Especially because of the equalizer functionality (- the BETA Player does something weird to the sound when using the equalizer). But I must admit that it sounds pretty stupid of Ahead, that OEM owners of Nero 6 can't get this extra app... Furthermore, they have no link as to where you can buy it (propably because it's still a beta). :D Overall, it sounds like PocketMusic is stille the best choise. Or....?
Guest bukhariwaheed111 Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 ahead has always been a penny picker when it comes to providing additional pluggins for their already sold goods. it is not strange that they are using this player to sell some other stuff. has any one tried show time is is it really worth trying ,no doubt screen shots look impressive. losers are the best coach

Guest Drewtech Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 I've been playing with this today (I already owned Nero Showtime so got the download). Visually it is impressive (as you can see from the screenshots) and once you figure out the controls (I didn't find any documentation) it is easy to use. It is however a bit flakey at the moment, I have had to soft reboot my phone about 4 times so far and that is more than the total number of times I have had to do since I got it in early January. You can't use this Bet for real either because it takes control of your phone and stops things like the home key working. It does let you answer a call (although there was a delay of over a second from pressing the answer key to the call actually being connected) but I wasn't able to end the call on mobile. I haven't worked out how to change the playback volume either. There doesn't appear to be a button (although there are so many I may have missed it) and the volume control on the handset doesn't work when you have the player open. There is a minimize button but this seems to stop the player and not just minimize it but it does stay in memory so it is more like a pause and hide. Whilst typing this I have found the volume control - it is in the graphic equalizer screen - not the best place in my opinion. Music doesn't seem to play properly with the graphic equalizer on. The porcessor can't handle the workload. If this isn't fixed for the release then you might as well forget it on the C500. Even changing a setting whilst a track is playing makes it sound worse than an old vinyl record being played in a car on a bumbpy road. If I play around anymore I will let you know what else I find.

Guest Zim Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Please note that asking for copyrighted program is not tolerated in this forum. Nero show time comes as a bundled with Nero software and that’s the only way you can get it. So please do not ask for copies "Z"

I had problems with mp3s as well.
