Review of Krusell Handit Multidapt case

I thought I'd just give this a quick review, as when I was looking for a case one didn't exist. I have used Krusell cases for a few years now but I will be non biased.

First of all, price. Including delivery it was £20 from PDA ADD-ONS on ebay who I DO NOT recommend. £20 seems to be the norm price wise. Mobile Fun have it listed at £12 but don't actually have it in stock!

First impressions are good. Good quality leather and stitching, although I was (and still am) concerned about the flap that fastens over the screen and fastens at the rear of the case by press stud.

It has a female adapter on the rear of the case in which to fasten a variety of belt holders. I prefer a round knob, (excuse the obvious reference) which in turn clips into a belt holder which I leave threaded to my belt and squeeze together clips release the case.

The phone is held securely and cannot fall out (as repeatedly happened with my P905). The case projects over the corners slightly so should protect it if dropped. The leather flap is nice and thick so should protect the screen well. Open the cover and 2 SD cards can be stored there. I have my combined wifi/256 Mb SD there instead.

Continue to open the flap and it can be pulled further back to reveal the camera cut outs. If a lengthy call is to be made then the flap can be fastened back to prevent it flapping in the wind!

Once the flap is open the 4 buttons are accessible as is the screen (without a cover). The side buttons are accessible whether or not the case is open or closed.

To conclude, for me it has more benifits to keeping it than not. Here is a quick summary.

PROS:

Good quality

Protects phone

SD Storage

Secure attchment to belt

CONS:

Flap has to be opened to answer phone

Press stud fastener instead of magnet

Nice review. I notice Expansys are selling it for £14.99 ex post. I wouldn't want a magnetic fastening that close to an electrical device though, so with the only other option being velcro, I suppose a pop fastener is the only way...

I forgot to mention that for the price a male multiadapt was included, together with a slide swivel clip @ £2.45. Expansys is an ok price for just the case tho.

As a magnetic fasterer is the one shipped with the device by HTC, I presume it has gone through the relevant testing.
