Guest chucky.egg Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Not as far as I know ActiveSync is very limited in what it can do, for example it can't sync from anything other than your "default" Calendar or Contacts in Outlook, so I doubt it would be able to sync to anywhere else either. Try searching for "+sync +outlook +card" (or variations on that theme) and see if anyone has had any luck
Guest zarquon Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Is this possible? How? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The only way I think you might be able to move outlook would be a registry hack, but I wouldn’t try that even if I knew how. What you can do is move the attachments to your storage card. In messaging go tools options and tap on the storage tab.
Guest JDimeRolla10 Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 Would anyone know under what folder the messages are stored on?
Guest chucky.egg Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 If it's just your emails that you're thinking about then you could try SDMail I managed to get my mail setup so that my inbox goes to my mini-sd card http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=117416
Guest JDimeRolla10 Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 Tried SDMail but I don't think it works for Pocket PC Phones, only for SmartPhones.
Guest Adrian2000 Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 Tried SDMail but I don't think it works for Pocket PC Phones, only for SmartPhones. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have looked at this as well, and the best solution i ahve come up with is to ensure that under Outlook e:mail, you go to Tools/Options/Storage and check the box for storing attachments on the Storage card. This solves half the problem. Then go to ActiveSync and open Settings next to Inbox and ensure that the number of days to sysnc e:mails is appropriate...do you really wnat six months or just a few days, also you can set the max size of attachments.....if you have a 1Gb SD card who cares, on the other hand if you have the standard 32mb you may wish to limit to about 500kb...depends on how many days e:mail you have sync'd. Hope this helps Ade
