Guest ShadowShape Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 Hello everyone, I've got a SPV C500, i've been going through the manual and this forum.. though i cannot find anything that solves my problem: Whenever i want to listen to some mp3's and plug in my head phone, i can listen to them through my headphone, though the phone plays the songs also through it's speaker.. i can tell you, people near me always look quite annoyed. Is this only an option i've set wrong.. is this a known problem .. is this new ? Could somebody help me please ? Thanks in advance
Guest oufc4ever Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 I'm not able to help but thought I'd let you know that you are not alone as my C500 does exactly the same, annoying isn't it? Guest RickDawson Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 I had this problem for a while, but a simple reboot solved it. when I had the problem, putting the adaptor in, reduced the volume of the phone speaker ever so slightly.
Guest tha_neo Posted April 4, 2005 Report Posted April 4, 2005 It´s the adapter that starts this problem. I think I got the solution. I don´t know if it works for 100% but it seems to work at the moment. I changed the headset profile to: Ring type: Vibrate Ring Volume: off Cause it seems it always happens when someone calls me and I disconnect the adapter to answer. It´s after that when i disconnect it and the ringtone comes out from the speaker. i think it´s then the phone buggs. So I thought that if I try to disable the speaker when it calls from the headset it would work. If this wont work i think another solution would be to disable the ring volume in the normal profile. But lets see how this works... Anyone who have tried this before?
Guest tha_neo Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 This actully seems to be working, I havent had any problems with my speaker n headset since I changed it:D weiiiii
Guest ShadowShape Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 (edited) **Glad to see that it worked for other people, unfortunately it didn't worked with my phone... still got the same prob, thnx for the replies anyway!** EDIT: After a reboot, and disabling the sound of the normal profile it did work :D Me sa being very greatful!!
