Using unlocked SMT5600 in london, europe, pakistan

Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me any direction / help on how I can use my recently unlocked Audiovox SMT5600 while i'm travelling through London, Europe, and Pakistan next month.

I mainly just need text / GPRS not really voice.

I would appreciate any information.

Just use it! It will ask you to pick a provider... then go ahead and SMS, MMS, whatever..

Just watch those charges!

You can also buy a prepaid overseas SIM...

This might only have worked for me (France, Spain & Italy) because mine is unlocked,

but that's a 30$ thing online...
