Guest cold_fire Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I managed to decert my Spv C500 , and it worked fine , 2 days ago i made a reset to the factory settings and the decert reverted now i am not able 2 decert it again. The first time i managed 2 decert it only worked by entering the phone number in this format +40(space)xxxxxx. Now it doesn't work anymore allthough i dl action regsiter . on the developer site it says that my imei is not in their database. Action register says : Registered : Yes Lock :Running What is there 2 do ?
Guest pierre Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I would remove the space, and try again. Like: +40xxxxxx I never kept a space, and it works.
Guest tudor Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I think their database is screwed up. I had the same problem here, with a phone which has been registered and now it's not in their database anymore.
Guest cold_fire Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 (edited) I have tried that way too but no result ...+40xxxxxxx , +40 xxxxxxx, +4 0xxxxxxx etc Edited March 24, 2005 by cold_fire

Guest phila67 Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 I ended up emailing the development team at orange and had them email me a decert application specific to my IMEI number. Once I had emailed them I got the application within n hour. Download it to your PC and with your phone connected and active sync running, just install it to your phone. Much better than the website way as it allows you to lock and unlock your phone whenever you want Heres the email address: [email protected] When you email them, you must give them the following details: Name: Mobile Number: Daytime contact: Daytime Email: IMEI Number Hope this helps Phil :D
