c500 Battery wont charge anymore :-( ?

hi

Just today the c500 battery doesnt seem to be charging (from the usb port).

Not tried the wall socket charger yet as its not here.

When i plug it into the usb cable the charging symbol comes up for about 3 seconds then turns into a full charged up symbol. Take out the cable and back to warning msg about low power.

ive left it in for about 30min and still no charge. ive always charged it on this pc and with this cable.

Any experiences welcome?

oh ive tried restarting it 5 times, and remoive the 256mb card,

1 weird thing, now when i go to system info the storage card doesnt report any storage size info like 50mb free etc? just says 'unknown'and tried removing the battery a few times.

update ....storage card now reporting correct size data

Doesn't sound good to me....but other people have reported probs with usb charging so mains is your best first test.

new battery is your second

and your third..........

yea i guess, see what the mains does, ah well, least i have orange care, my babys worth it.

I had the same problem that it fullycharged it after some second but the thing is that its charging it but you can´t see it. if you take out the usb cable and check the batterylevel you´ll see that it has changed.

I formated my computer yesterday (i tihnk) and after a formatation the usbcharging where fixed. So I guess its some application in windows thats messing. But it worked normaly with a wallcharger
