Guest bill door Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Just got my Jam and have installed all my usual PPC gubbins onto it. So I decided to back up to sd card incase of battery death. I'm 10 minutes into backing up 19meg and only 17% of the way there. I know its not my sd card as thats pretty nippy and I can run video on it at full whack. Weird eh?
Guest Chaser81 Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I dont think this is exclusive to the Jam... One of my mates has an XDA IIs and xBackup takes (literally) hours to perform a backup on his. Funny that it takes no where near as much time to do an xBackup on my Jam or on my other mate's XDA IIs.... Having said that, I now use Sprite Backup anyways, its much better as it backs up more stuff and its a LOT quicker!
Guest bill door Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 Thanks for that- will give sprite a go. So far so good- am quite impressed with the Jam although I have to say it doesn't seem quite as fast on the refresh as my Ipaq 1940 (I've had to uninstall weather panel as that seemed to slow it down a little).
Guest MitchellO Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 Yeah, it is really slow. I tried restoring and my file didn't work. Don't trust it anymore.
