Record audio from PC?

Hello there. :D

I used to have this great little function on my soundblaster live soundcard that let me 'record what you hear' from the PC. It was very handy for recording short clips of audio from movies etc.

Now that I have upgraded my soundcard, it no longer has this function, just in/out. Does anybody know oif a handy free app that I can download that will record internal audio?
