Hi,

I tried to sent a mp3 ringtone to my mpx220 and it worked find, I can find in the explorer, I just can not get it on the "ringtone" list.

Some WAV Files I sent the same way, work fine and automatically get into the ringtone list. What to do ??

Thank,

Tom

I was under the impression that MP3's cannot be used as ringtones. I convert my MP3's to WAV's and then cut out the section I want to use as a ringtone as they are rather large files. I tried a MIDI version of the MP3 I wanted to use and it was awful.

put the sound files (mp3, wma, wav) into the "Storage\Application Data\Sounds" directory, and than they will appear on the sound settings.

By the way, IPSM directory is for windows mobile 2002. In 2003 it's been changed to Storage.
