Guest dcdomain Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 try putting the wav file in the folder IPSM/application dat/sounds <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was under the impression that MP3's cannot be used as ringtones. I convert my MP3's to WAV's and then cut out the section I want to use as a ringtone as they are rather large files. I tried a MIDI version of the MP3 I wanted to use and it was awful.

Thank, Tom <{POST_SNAPBACK}> put the sound files (mp3, wma, wav) into the "Storage\Application Data\Sounds" directory, and than they will appear on the sound settings. By the way, IPSM directory is for windows mobile 2002. In 2003 it's been changed to Storage.
