:?: i guess you all heard this before but how do i get my stuff that i have downloaded from the net on my comp ( eg.. new screen stuff etc..) on to my spv c500 im.

I don't mean to sound rude but.... Have you looked around/searched the forums, there is looooooads of great info on here if you look for it.

Anyhooo, to get you started try searching for "activesync" which is the software you need to install and configure to do what you asked.

Forwarning.....DO NOT connect your C500 to your PC before installing ActiveSync software and reading the article on the forums.

The first and most important thing is: make a backup of all your contacts, e-mails, calendars and tasks you have in Outlook. This would keep you safe from losing data while learning to use the phone. After this, almost anything that goes wrong can be fixed, in some cases by reverting the phone to manufacturer's defaults.

Maddogrnnsn's advice is good, you should search this forum for anything you don't know how to do. If you can't find something via search, just post a new topic and ask.

I believe we all screwed up our phones a couple of times by trying on software or messing with the settings, but that's how you learn, so don't dispair if something goes wrong, you can start over :D

About ActiveSync, download ActiveSync 3.8 from Microsoft, install it, and you'll see an additional icon in "My Computer" called "Mobile Device". Start exploring from there :D
