Does anyone know of a way to set the time so it is automatically updated by the service provider like most other phones? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place in my phone, but after a month of resetting the time and short periodic searches I've found nothing.

I'd also be interested in any insight on this topic. I'd like for the phone to set it's time automatically using the GSM provider's broadcast time information (like most GSM phones). But I don't see any way to do that.

When u sync with activesync, it also syncs the time with a server. I think thats as accurate as you can get with time.

Perhaps, but when you change time zones and aren't syncing, the time is not going to reflect the accurate time of the cell system.
