Guest declank Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Is there a way to do this. Cant believe I have to do this one contact at a time ! After all, this is supposed to be a SMART phone. Cheers.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 You can use Activsync, orange backup may be an idea if it's between similar phones etc. The phone is SMART but not smart enough to do everything you want which is a shame as I would love mine to make a decent cup of coffee :D
Guest chucky.egg Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 This came up last week too, but a better solution has not been found AFAIK. Assuming you want to copy your contacts from your Smartphone to a non-Smartphone the easiest way is to sync both with Outlook. But that requires that both phones can be sync'd and not all non-smartphones can be. A little app to extract all contacts to individual VCF files, and then one to import them onto a Smartphone would be useful...
Guest declank Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 In the end I used the SIM manager to copy all from phone to SIM. Then stuck the sim in the second phone to copy SIM to phone. A traditional method, but only took a couple of minutes. Thanks to those that responded.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 I thought you wanted all contact details and not just the number
Guest confused and hungover Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 The phone is SMART but not smart enough to do everything you want which is a shame as I would love mine to make a decent cup of coffee :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> mine gets me beer from the fridge and it makes a mean curry 8)
