BT headset no longer works with my c500

hi

i have a spv c500 to which i have paired a nokia bluetooth headset. this worked fine untill i loaded tom tom mobile and downloaded the fix for tomtom. at which point all bluetooth headsets will not work with the phone. can anyone shed any light on the problem. it only seemed to occur when the tomtom fix was loaded onto the phone. every thing else works fine and the phone will still connect into the parrot bluetooth car kit with no problems
