Edit Contacts on PC

Hi

Is is possible to edit the mxip_initdb.vol file on a PC? I know it's probably easier to edit in contacts outlook, but it may be possible to assign ringtones easily by editing the database directly.

I did mxip_initdb.vol back ups before but havent tried editing.

Then does anyone know how to get RingToneX to work on a SP3. Or is there a similar product for SP3? :?:
