C500 task reminders

Am I missing something, or can you not assign due dates and reminders for tasks on the C500, without first sync-ing to Outlook on your desktop?

When I set a task using the option on the phone, it only allows me to enter the basic text ("phone the wife" or whatever) but not to set a date/time when the task is due, or to set a reminder alarm.

It seems to have successfully set a due date from a task have on Outlook, when I have used ActiveSync - although I've not tested when or not I'll get an alert at the allotted date/time.

The phones built in Task app is unfortunately not as good as it could be but there are a few apps you can look at that may be of help.

Not sure as I have never used these apps but both have trails available.
