Hi everybody

I have once accomplished to connet my C500 with PC, Win2000 with usb bluetooth

adapter (Sitecom) which I have borrowed from my collegue.

Then I Have bought my own which has been made by another manufacturer (Micornet). This I've had to reinstall the drivers (WIDCOMM).

And again I tried to follow the bullet-proof guide to connect my SP with PC.

But I wasn't succesful. The bluetooth connection was available in ActiveSync on my SP. So I have tried all of guides here. I reseted my SP to original state afterwards and tried it again. But at this time I can't get the bluetooth connection type to be available in ActiveSync/Options/Advanced dialog.

Must be the serial port on PC no. 7 (Bluetooth serial port service) as it's set

on SP to this port?

Thanks for help.

Leave the connection type as USB - it doesn't matter.

I have WinXP not 2000 but the I don't believe it's that different. Look under Modems and find out what Port the phone BT modem is set to on the PC (It is most likely NOT 7) this is the port you will need to use in ActiveSync. If the port No. is >9 you will have to change it to 9 or less as ActiveSync doesn't recognise ports >9.
