Right, Im getting very close to buying a jam. However, I want to stay with orange. So from my understanding Orange are not going to release a Jam model.

So I either buy sim free , cheapest I have seen is £379.95 or

but from say t-mobile on one of there plans and then get the jam unlocked after a month, so I can use it with orange. about £310 ish..

Last option does seem to be a waste, since after the first month with t-mobile, you woundn't be using any free mins or texts..

My contact with Orange runs for another 10 months.. any ideas anyone...

Is that info about O not releasing the JAM correct? I was under the impression that Orange were just being fashionably (not) late to the party! (although not sure where / why I got that impression - weren't there some rumours about an Orange M500??)

Slowly loosing the plot! :?:

Arhh right, Im not sure either now. I thought I read on one of these forums that Orange wasn't going to release them. I hope I'm wrong. why do Orange always make everyone wait!!! the amount of biz they lose to other networks but be significant.

O customer retention told me they were not adopting the M500, but the situation may change at some point in the future. That was about a month ago. I've now left O and have an MDA Compact. Hello T Mobile!

This is surely an error on the Scancom website:

http://www.scancom.co.uk/product.php/731/1...96578c0b0ba5943

MDA Compact = 60GBP + VAT on 15GBP U-Fix Peak

MDA Compact = 60GBP + VAT on 30GBP U-Fix Peak

&

MDA Compact = 120GBP + VAT on 15GBP U-Fix Off-Peak

MDA Compact = 120GBP + VAT on 30GBP U-Fix Off-Peak

Whereas at T-mobile if you give them a bell they tell you:

MDA Compact = 69GBP on 30GBP U-Fix Peak

MDA Compact = 69GBP on 30GBP U-Fix Off-Peak

&

MDA Compact = 129GBP on 15GBP U-Fix Peak

MDA Compact = 129GBP on 15GBP U-Fix Off-Peak

So, if you go with U-Fix 15GBP Peak, the total cost of the phone is:

(15*12)+(60*1.175)=250.50

AND its in stock ;)

Just brought one
