Has anyone else had problems getting their grubby mitts on a m2000 lately? Seems that way from some of the posts here, but I can't find an actual topic on this specific subject.

I placed my order through CoolSmartPhone's shop portal, and so far I've been waiting a little under 4 weeks for the blasted thing.

They say it'll be back in stock mid April... and I only found that out because I'd checked the website incase they'd posted anything.

I don't blame CSP, I blame the people they're dealing with to offer these handsets. Kudos to CSP for the site... and of course to MoDaCo for the forums and a chance to rant and rave about this...

I have been having the same problems since the beginning of the year (or so it seems!). I had a long conversation with an orange tech services guy yesterday who says the problem is actually HTC: they rebrand them for orange and it is they who are being very slow in getting the job done. I ordered one through onestopphoneshop who have told me for 3 wks running now that they just don't have any stock (but were quite happy to take my £ and keep it).

I have a problem with the companies who are allowing customers to order and pay for goods that are not and will not be in stock for some weeks. During this time, they are gaining interest on our money (not that I'm tight fisted as its the principle...)

I happened to mention this problem when in a local shop yesterday; the salesman checked their stock list and found one M2000 at a branch, so luckily I was able to have my much sought after new toy yesterday. All I can say is its worth waiting for, as probably anyone else who owns one will tell you. I don't use mine for business, purely for personal use. I am very impressed with it (but not the manual that comes with it which is woefully inadequate :D ).

Hang on in there, you will recieve it soon I am sure

is there still stock issues with the m2000? because if there are none in stock then i assume if i claim on my orange insurance theres going to be a problem. which begs the wuestion, what am i getting for the insurance premium i pay to Mr O!

i've emailed them regarding this and haven't had a response.

Annoying!

They have replied this morning, stock of new phones and replacements are seperate, so at least if you have a problem you can get a replacement.

I was texted by Orange yesterday morning to let me know they had come back into stock. I called Orange within 15 minutes and was told that it was showing out of stock again. After a bit of harrasing I managed to find out that they had actually reserved one of them for me and it was waiting for me to pay the upgrade cost. I paid and they said it should be with me within 3 working days.

Fortunately, I had my phone arrive this morning. The company I'd ordered it through phoned me last night to tell me it was in stock, however the deal I'd asked for wasn't available anymore. I didn't care. I just wanted my phone >.;)
