help! its all gone!

Hi

I was happily playin Chix and my fone crashed. I restarted it, it then said somthing about needing a cold boot and restarted itself.

When it finished rebooting everything was back to its factory settings.... :exclaim: :shock:

no contacts, themes, ringtones, messages, games, anything :D :D :D

active sync has sorted the contacts but all the other stuff seems to be gone :shock:

do i have to reinstall everything....and get it app unlocked again?

and is ther anyway of backing up the lot so if it happens again i can not waste my life reinstalling my fone?

Looks like i do have to app unlock it again......cant even install a theme :shock:

Sounds like the dreaded partial reset :D

This is usually caused by low phone memory or low battery level.

I would advise you to do a full hard reset before you start reinstalling things. There may be registry corruption caused by the partial reset and you're right in thinking that you will need to app. unlock again.

For full backup I would recommend Sprite :
