Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 File Name :: Ripple 1 Windows Author :: pzee Category :: Animated Description :: This is a 5X Project-inspired Windows logo with matching rain drops/ripple effects. Special thanks to 5X project for the graphic file. The homescreen files included in the ZIP archive are freewares (*.ani, jpg and XML). The plugin to run the animated homescreen is NOT freeware. Please do not ask for links nor post links to download the plugin installer plus the AnimationEditor. You can purchase the plugin using this link: http://www.madbeetle.com/homescreen_page1.html Have fun. :D View File EDIT: Just an important reminder regarding the date-time plugin: Ripple XML use of the 'long-style' date format. By default, the phone's long style date format is: dddd MMMM dd, yyyy corresponding to Friday April 29, 2005. The problem when using the long style date format without the tweak is that long day and long month names will overlap with the time. Example is Wednesday September 30, 2006. The format used by this homescreen is ddd, MMM dd, yyyy translating to Thu, Mar 31, 2005. The long style date format registry value is located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides\SLDte. I havent included a reg tweak in the cab installer so you have to manually setup your SLDte value using a registry editor to get same result as that of the sample animation. Restart device for changes to take effect. If you wish to go back to the default format, just browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides\SLDte and change the Value data to dddd MMMM dd, yyyy

Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 For this particular homescreen you need at least 1.5Mb of Storage space, ~5.71Mb RAM.
