Guest dror Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Hi Folks, I have the following problem with my motorola mpx200 running on the 2002 OS: whenever i synch with my PC, it gives me a "low memory" warning. I have an empty 64Mb SD card and the phone itself says it has 44Mb taken (i have no idea by what!). Can anyone help? i also cleaned up the "sent items" and 'deleted items" folders but to no avail. thanks Drro
Guest squall Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 sounds like its time to hard reset! be sure to install all software etc to the storage card, not the phone (its an option when running the installer) for a how to on hard resetting see www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=117710 be sure to back everything up before doing the hard reset
Guest dror Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 the good news is that the reset was successful and the phone reacts much faster. however, i seem to have lost the FILE MANAGER function. Any idea of how i can get it back? thanks for the neat trick! dror
Guest martin Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 I think some of the MPX200 applications are stored on the CD and have to be re-loaded after a hard reset. I know MMS is one of them.

As martin says, some 3rd party app might be on the cd. Otherwise you'll need 'resco smart explorer', which you can d/l for free
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 3, 2005 Report Posted April 3, 2005 Or go for Smart explorer from www.binarys.com It's the main app I use on the phone.
