1 gig card but only fills upto 300 mb's?

I have a 1 gig card and i'm trying to throw 689 mb's of songs on it but when i start the transfer w\ windows media player, or even if i put the card in my lappy, it will only put on about 300 mb, so i'm sitting here w\ and available 600 some MB's FREE? and ideas why they won't transfer?

I'm really confused and can't seem to get this figured out

Strange - have you tried reformating the card?

are you sure your puting it in your storage card, and not your storage folder.

and if not that try puting the songs 1 at a time don't put them all in at once-or get a card reader.
