i mate firmware on SPV C500

I used imate firmware on my unlocked C500, it all worked fine apart form the joystick not responding to anything.

Did any one else have this problem, is there a fix or is just specific to my phone.

the Firmware I used is RUUv1.00Inst1.2.33.21 for the imate website

i think u used the sp3i firmware on your c500. it doesnt work

Can you tell me - what would be the advantage of using this rom over the standard Orange rom (unlocked) that I have right now? Also - are there simple instruction on how to do it if I decided that there were advantages? And is it easy to go back to the Orange rom if it goes wrong?

Can u download iMate roms freely on their site? Dont you have to have an imei of an iMate?

You must have an i-mate's IMEI in order to login and then get the firmware/software

If you have a C500 then you are not eligable to download the IMATE rom
